A prosecutor
of the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor’s
Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued an Indictment against the following
person:

An investigator of the Special Department for
War Crimes of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina is present at
the site in the vicinity of the village of Izbišno, Municipality of Foča, in
the canyon of the Bistrica River, where he coordinates the work of authorized
officers participating in the exhumation process.

Having carried out the
operation and arrested two persons suspected of the placement of a larger
quantity of counterfeit euro banknotes in the area of Banja Luka, the duty
prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina questioned the
suspects and decided to put forward a Motion for pre-Trial Custody with the
Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The US Department of Justice announced that the defendant
Mirsad Kandić (1981) was sentenced to life imprisonment.

Bavarian Chief Prosecutor, is visiting the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and
Herzegovina.

The accused Nemanja Filipović, born in
1992 in Ljubovija in the Republic of Serbia, a citizen of Bosnia and
Herzegovina, signed a Plea Agreement in the presence of his attorney and thus
fully pleaded guilty to the criminal offences of Smuggling of Persons and Attack
against Official Persons on Tasks of Security, Detection and Apprehension of
Perpetrators of Criminal Offences, which he was charged with by the Indictment
of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was subsequently
sentenced by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina to a single sentence of imprisonment
for a term of one (1) year and two (2) months and a fine in the amount of BAM 1,500
as an accessory punishment.
