JOINT ACTION OF SIPA AND INDIRECT TAXATION AUTHORITY OF BIH IS BEING CARRIED OUT IN THE TERRITORY OF THE CENTRAL BOSNIA CANTON PURSUANT TO THE ORDER OF THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BiH

26.06.2013. 10:02 Pursuant to the Order issued by a Prosecutor of the Department III of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, authorized law enforcement officers of the BiH State Investigation and Protection Agency – SIPA and members of the Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH - Sarajevo Regional Center, assisted by authorized police officers of the Ministry of the Interior of the Central Bosnia Canton, are conducting investigative activities at the three locations in the territory of the municipalities of Fojnica and Kiseljak, aimed at detection and criminal prosecution of persons suspected of criminal offenses of Tax Evasion or Fraud, as referred to in Article 210 of the Criminal Code of BiH and Unauthorized Storage of Goods, as referred to in Article 210b of the same Code.

INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST DRAŽEN KEŠKO (1968)

25.06.2013. 15:05 Prosecutor of the Department III has issued an Indictment against Dražen Keško, born on 27 November 1968 in Zenica, where he also resides, citizen of BiH, officer of the Indirect Taxation Authority in Banja Luka, Banja Luka Regional Center, employed as an Assistant Customs Officer at the Border Crossing in Brod, for Illegal Withholding of Identity Papers.

POSITION OF THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH REGARDING THE EVENTS IN TUZLA

24.06.2013. 14:52 In view of the fact that the recent events in Tuzla which resulted in severe breach of security are linked with the unlawful pardons that are subject of investigation of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH in the Budimir et al. case, the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH is of opinion that such a development of the situation is expected due to the large number of perpetrators of serious crimes who are at large as a consequence of unlawful pardoning.

CHIEF PROSECUTOR MET WITH THE BRITISH AMBASSADOR TO BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

19.06.2013. 15:18 As ordered by a Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption, authorized police officials of the RS Ministry of the Interior and Judicial Police of BiH are conducting investigative activities in Doboj area as part of the Arka action aimed at detecting and prosecuting persons suspected of international smuggling of a larger amount of narcotic drugs.
