The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina filed an
indictment against:

After interviewing the suspect, the Prosecutor’s Office of
Bosnia and Herzegovina sent a motion to the Court of BiH to order prohibiting measures
for the suspect, which, among other things, include the confiscation of
documents, a travel ban, as well as a ban on contacting witnesses and suspects
in the case and reporting three times a week to the relevant police department.

A working
meeting of the delegations of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and the Supreme
State Prosecutor’s Office of Montenegro was held at the Prosecutor’s Office of
BiH. During it, an Agreement on understanding and cooperation in the field of
support for witnesses, injured parties and victims was signed to allow their
participation in criminal proceedings in war crimes cases.

The
Prosecutor’s Office of BiH received a final second-instance verdict in the
Selmo Cikotić case confirming the first-instance judgment and sentencing of the
accused Cikotić to a three-year prison sentence.

In the
high-level organised crime case Mladen Popović et al. (“Vertigo” operation),
the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH submitted to the Court of BiH a motion to order five
suspects into custody.

Acting on
orders of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, the police officers of the Administration
for Organised and Serious Crime of the Republika Srpska Ministry of the
Interior, in cooperation with the Prijedor Police Administration, deprived
eight persons from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia of their liberty, because
of the existence of grounds for suspicion that they were involved in criminal offences
of international smuggling of various types of narcotic drugs in the respective
territories of the countries of the region, as well as in several instances of
smuggling of a large number of illegal migrants from the territory of Bosnia
and Herzegovina towards the Republic of Croatia and EU countries.

Having questioned the suspects, the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and
Herzegovina filed a motion to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina to order
prohibiting measures for a total of five suspects, who are under investigation
for a terrorist act committed in Bosanska Krupa, in order to ensure the
smooth conduct of the investigation.

A total of six suspects, who were
deprived of liberty in the area of Bosanska Krupa and Bihać, will be handed
over to the Terrorism Section within the legally prescribed time limit.

The investigation is being conducted under the supervision
of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office – Terrorism Section and the State Investigation
and Protection Agency - SIPA, the Federation Police Administration and the
Una-Sana Canton Ministry of the Interior are carrying out activities.
