MEETING OF TASK FORCE FOR FIGHT AGAINST TRAFFICKING IN HUMAN BEINGS AND ILLEGAL MIGRATIONS HELD AT BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE

01.10.2019. 14:55 A meeting of the Task Force for Fight against Trafficking in Human Beings and Illegal Migrations was held at the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and it was chaired by the Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ms. Gordana Tadić. Officials from the state-level law enforcement agencies and judicial institutions, as well as those from both entities and the Brčko District of BiH, participate in the work of this Task Force group.

30.09.2019. 15:52 The Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gordana Tadić and associates met with representatives of the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (IRMCT), legal officers Najwa Nabti and Abeer Hasan at the premises of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH. 

EXHUMATION OF MORTAL REMAINS OF VICTIM FROM PAST WAR COMPLETED IN AREA OF ŠEKOVIĆI MUNICIPALITY

30.09.2019. 15:38  At the site in Trnovo, in Šekovići Municipality, exhumation process/clearing up of the terrain has been completed under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the course of which incomplete mortal remains of one person were found.

BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE ISSUES INDICTMENT FOR TAX EVASION OF BAM 358,428

27.09.2019. 12:52 The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued an Indictment against Branko Kovačević and the legal entity ‘Horizont’ /Horizon/ d.o.o. /Limited Liability Company/ from Banja Luka, charged with tax evasion of BAM 358,428 in 2016 and 2017, which is the amount of the damage incurred to the budget of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

INDICTMENT FOR TAX EVASION OF CA. BAM 161,000 ISSUED

27.09.2019. 12:03  The accused persons are charged with the criminal offense of Tax Evasion or Fraud, as referred to in Article 210 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

ACCUSED MILOSAV VESKOVIĆ CONCLUDED GUILTY PLEA AGREEMENT

26.09.2019. 11:39 An eight-year prison term and confiscation of illegal material gain were proposed.  

MOTION FOR ORDERING DANEL RAJKOVIĆ (1981) INTO CUSTODY

25.09.2019. 14:40 The ordering of custody has been moved because of the risk that the suspect, if at large, might obstruct the investigation, conceal evidence, influence witnesses or accomplice and commit a new criminal offence or complete the initiated one.  

INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR SMUGGLING MIGRANTS WITHIN BiH TERRITORY

24.09.2019. 12:38 The accused is charged with having smuggled, for consideration, illegal migrants through the BiH territory, including minors, who illegally entered Bosnia and Herzegovina and did not have valid documents for their stay in BiH.

EXHUMATION IN VLASENICA AREA COMPLETED

23.09.2019. 15:17  Complete mortal remains of one person have been found.
