CUSTODY MOTION FOR THREE ORGANISED CRIME SUSPECTS

05.04.2024. 12:07 Acting under the supervision of the case prosecutor from the Special Department for Organised Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption, SIPA police officers deprived three suspects of their liberty in Herzegovina and searched buildings and vehicles at five locations in Međugorje, Mostar and Konjic.

04.04.2024. 10:57 During the work on the ‘EAST-SWOT’ case, SIPA police officers identified and deprived the suspect of his liberty in the area of East Sarajevo. In this case, another operation had been previously carried out and two suspects, who are already in custody, were deprived of their liberty.

29.03.2024. 12:17 The accused Aziz Šukalo, born in 1958 in Foča, citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, fully admitted his guilt in the presence of his lawyer and entered a guilty plea agreement with a prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.    

CUSTODY MOTION FOR TURKISH CITIZENS SUSPECTED OF HUMAN SMUGGLING

27.03.2024. 12:19 Acting within 24/7 duty, the on-duty prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina sent a motion to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina to order the following suspects into custody: 1.     Hakan Kasap, born in 2004 in Yenicaga, Türkyie, citizen of the Republic of Türkyie, 2.     Mehmet Tekin, born in 1994 in Dodubayazit, Türkyie, citizen of the Republic Türkyie.

A Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organised Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina filed an indictment against the defendant Radovan Damjanović, born in Sarajevo in 1987, citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

19.03.2024. 14:12 Sarajevo, 19 March 2024 - Within the EU4 Justice project, Jussi Tapani, judge of the Supreme Court of Finland, held a training for 30 participants, prosecutors, investigators and legal advisors from the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and judges from the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina on criminal law and the theory of intent in the context of trial management.
