The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has submitted a motion for ordering pre-trial custody against the suspects Almir Grgić*, born in 1982, a citizen of BiH, and Edin Ljuca* born in 1984, a citizen of BiH. The pre-trial custody was proposed for the reasons described in Article 132 (1) (b) and (c) of the Criminal Procedure Code of BiH. The aforementioned suspects are under investigation for the criminal offence of money laundering under Article 209 of the Criminal Code of BiH. They are charged with having placed in the payment system in the Sarajevo area a large quantity of euro banknotes, coloured with electrochemical security ink, which probably originate from the criminal offence of money theft committed outside BiH. During the investigation, cooperation was achieved with EUROPOL.
