PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA AND COURT OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA ISSUE JOINT PRESS RELEASE
05.07.2025. 08:27On the same day, at the motion filed by the BiH Prosecutor’s Office, he was taken to appear at a hearing held before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at which the Court of BiH issued a decision granting the Prosecutor’s Motion, so the suspect Milorad Dodik’s custody was terminated, since it was found that the reasons for which it had been ordered no longer existed, while the Court imposed on him the restrictive measures as follows:
Ø mandatory periodical reporting to a state authority.
According to the Decision, the imposed restrictive measures may last for as long as necessary, or until the Court issues a different decision.
The imposed restrictive measures shall be checked on a bimonthly basis. The suspect has been particularly warned that he may be remanded in custody if found in violation of the obligations ensuing from the imposed restrictive measures.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
