PROSECUTORS OF SPECIAL STATE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF MONTENEGRO VISIT PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH

Prosecutors
and professional staff from Montenegro visited the Prosecutor’s Office of
Bosnia and Herzegovina and the focus of the visit was the exchange of
experiences with prosecutors and professional staff of the Special Department
for War Crimes.
During the visit, the prosecutors toured the facilities and premises where the Special Department for War Crimes is located and they were also introduced to the work and technical facilities used by the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH. They also watched the court hearing in a war crime case and were able to see how the evidentiary proceedings is conducted in the cases prosecuted by the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and the Court of BiH.
The visit was carried out with the support of the TRIAL International organisation within the MATRA project with the aim of exchanging experience and knowledge between the judiciary of BiH and Montenegro regarding the prosecution of war crimes cases.
