INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY IN THE AREA OF BILJANI, KLJUČ MUNICIPALITY
10.01.2025. 09:01The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued an indictment against Jovo Kevac*, born in 1946 in Ključ, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The accused is charged with acting contrary to the provisions of the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War as the commander of the second VRS battalion in the Ključ area.
He is accused of crimes committed in the month of July 1992, during the attack on Gornji and Donji Biljani, when about 250 Ethnic Bosniak civilians from those places were captured and killed after the capture. Their remains were exhumed and identified from several mass graves.
The accused is charged with the criminal offense - Crimes against Humanity under Article 172 of the CC BiH.
