INDICTMENT ISSUED IN HIGH-LEVEL ORGANIZED CRIME CASE

The suspect is accused of organizing and managing an international group for organized crime, which recruited victims and organized prostitution and sexual exploitation of several girls and women from Serbia, BiH and other countries.
Furthermore, the suspect is charged with international trafficking in narcotic drugs.
The suspect is charged with the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 250 of the Criminal Code of BiH, in conjunction with the criminal offenses of International Human Trafficking under Article 186 of the Criminal Code of BiH, International Enticing Persons into Prostitution under Article 187 of the Criminal Code of BiH, as well as Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195 of the Criminal Code of of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
