INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST JERKO VICAN* ET AL. FOR THE CRIMINAL OFFENCE OF ASSOCIATING FOR THE PURPOSE OF COMMITTING CRIMINAL OFFENCES
The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH filed an indictment against Jerko Vican, born in 1974 in Posušje, Anđa Vican*, born in 1974 in Tomislavgrad, and Edin Obad*, born in 1988 in Mostar, because there is a well-founded suspicion that they committed the criminal offences of Association to commit criminal offences under Article 249 (2) of the Criminal Code of BiH and the criminal offence under Article 149 (2) and (3) of the Law on Industrial Property of BiH.
INDICTMENT FILED AGAINST ZEJID ŠABIĆ* AND OTHERS FOR THE CRIMINAL OFFENCE OF ORGANISING A GROUP OR ASSOCIATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF PERPETRATING THE CRIMINAL OFFENCE OF SMUGGLING OF MIGRANTS AND THE CRIMINAL OFFENCE OF SMUGGLING OF PERSONS
The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH filed an indictment against Zejid Šabić* (1969), Jasmin Osmančević* (1983), Elvir Šabić* (1980), Amir Bečić* (1998), Alen Bečić* (1995), Amel Bečić* (1997), Huso Bečić* (1994), Husmir Čović* (1985), Rasim Samardžić* (1952) and Zinet Zarifović* (1978), because there is a well-founded suspicion that the accused Zejid Šabić committed the criminal offence of Organising a group or association for the purpose of perpetrating the criminal offence of smuggling of migrants under Article 189a (1) of the Criminal Code of BiH, in conjunction with the criminal offence of Smuggling of persons under Article 189 (1) of the same Code, while the accused Jasmin Osmančević, Elvir Šabić, Amir Bečić, Alen Bečić, Amel Bečić, Huso Bečić, Husmir Čović, Rasim Samardžić and Zinet Zarifović committed the criminal offence of Organizing a group or association for the purpose of perpetrating the criminal offence of smuggling of migrants under Article 189a (2) of the Criminal Code of BiH, as read with paragraph 1 thereof, in conjunction with the criminal offence of Smuggling of persons under Article 189 (1) and (2) of the same Code.
CUSTODY MOTION AGAINST SUSPECTS RAJKO MILIĆ * AND OTHERS
The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH submitted to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina a motion to order into custody the suspects Rajko Milić* (1951), Milan Tomić* (1967), Radenko Zarić* (1965) and Miodrag Pavlović aka “Mijo”* (1957). The custody measure was proposed for the reasons described in Article 132 (1) (a), (b) and (d) of the Criminal Procedure Code of BiH.
The suspects are charged with the criminal offence of Genocide under Article 171 of the Criminal Code of BiH.
CUSTODY MOTION AGAINST SUSPECT DANKO KAJKUT*
The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH submitted to the Court of BiH a motion to order the suspect Danko Kajkut into custody for the reasons described in Article 132 (1), (a) and (b) of the Criminal Procedure Code of BiH.
The suspect is charged with the criminal offence of Crimes against humanity under Article 172 of the Criminal Code of BiH.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
