CUSTODY MOTION AGAINST FIVE PERSONS

In the
high-level organised crime case Mladen Popović et al. (“Vertigo” operation),
the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH submitted to the Court of BiH a motion to order five
suspects into custody.
The one-month custody motion was proposed for the reasons provided for in Article 132 (1) subparagraphs (a), (b) and (c) of the Criminal Procedure Code of BiH.
Evidence obtained from the SKY application was used in this case.
The suspects are under investigation for the criminal offence of organised crime under Article 250 of the Criminal Code of BiH in conjunction with the criminal offense of illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs under Article 195 of the Criminal Code of BiH and the criminal offence of smuggling of persons under Article 189 of the Criminal Code of BiH.
