INDICTMENT FILED AGAINST SINIŠA TOPIĆ* AND LEGAL ENTITY IBERICA NEKRETNINE* D.O.O. BANJA LUKA FOR CRIMINAL OFFENCE OF TAX EVASION OR FRAUD
The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH filed an indictment against Topić Siniša (1974) from Banja Luka and the legal entity ‘Iberica Nekretnine’ d.o.o. /LCC/ Banja Luka, because there is a well-founded suspicion that they committed the criminal offence of tax evasion or fraud under Article 210 of the Criminal Code of BiH.
INDICTMENT FILED AGAINST ELVIR POLJO* FOR CRIMINAL OFFENCE OF PEOPLE SMUGGLING
The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH filed an indictment against Elvir Poljo, born in 1975 in Višegrad, because there is a well-founded suspicion that he committed the criminal offence of Smuggling of persons under Article 189 of the Criminal Code of BiH.
EXHUMATION CARRIED OUT IN HAN PIJESKA AREA
On 24 October 2024, at the location Vukšić mountain, in the municipality of Han Pjesak, an exhumation process was carried out during which the remains of one person were found.
The remains will be transported to the Tuzla Memorial Centre in order to determine the victim’s identity through DNA analysis.
CUSTODY MOTION AGAINST RAMAL GUSEINOV*, CITIZEN OF GEORGIA
The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH submitted a motion to the Court of BiH to order into custody the suspect Guseinov Ramal, citizen of Georgia, born in 1983 in Marneula, Georgia, for the reasons described in Article 132 (1) (a) of the Criminal Procedure Code of BiH.
The suspect is charged with the criminal offence of Smuggling of persons under Article 189 of the Criminal Code of BiH and the criminal offence Giving gifts and other forms of benefits under Article 218 (1) of the Criminal Code of BiH.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
