CHIEF PROSECUTOR MEETS WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF PROSECUTOR’S OFFICES OF KINGDOM OF SPAIN

During his visit to Spain and the signing of the Memorandum on Cooperation and Understanding between the Prosecutor’s Offices of the two countries, the Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, Milanko Kajganić, also met with prosecutors of the Special Prosecutor’s Office of Spain, prosecutors specialised in fighting crimes related to migration and human trafficking, as well as with prosecutors working on cases of corruption and organised crime. During the meetings, experiences were exchanged and further cooperation in this area was agreed.


MOTION TO EXTEND CUSTODY IN BLAGOJE MILOVIĆ * ET AL. CASE


The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH submitted to the Court of BiH a motion to extend the custody measure for the suspects Blagoje Milović (1981) and Ivica Bago* (1979) for the reasons described in Article 132 (1) (a) and (b), and for the suspect Siniša Crnogorac* (1980) - for the reasons described in Article 132 (1) (b) of the Criminal Procedure Code of BiH.

The suspects are charged with the criminal offences of Organized crime under Article 250, in conjunction with the criminal offences of Illicit trade in excise goods under Article 220 and Smuggling under Article 214, all set out in the Criminal Code of BiH, as well as other criminal offences.



CUSTODY MOTION AGAINST SUSPECT SULEYMAN AKYUZ*


The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH submitted to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina a motion to order into custody Suleyman Akyuz, born in 1986 in Cinra, Türkiye, citizen of Türkiye. The custody measure has been proposed for the reasons described in Article 132 (1) (a) of the Criminal Procedure Code of BiH.

The aforementioned suspect is charged with the criminal offence of Smuggling of people under Article 189 of the Criminal Code of BiH (CC BiH), in conjunction with Articles 26 and 29 thereof, and the criminal offence of Giving gifts and other forms of benefit under Article 218, in conjunction with Article 26 of the CC BiH, and all in conjunction with Article 53 of the same Code.




INDICTMENT FILED AGAINST MARIJA BAJIĆ* FOR CRIMINAL OFFENCE OF ILLICIT TRAFFICKING IN NARCOTIC DRUGS


The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH filed an indictment against Marija Bajić, born in 1992, citizen of of Croatia, because there is a well-founded suspicion that she committed the criminal offence of Illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs under Article 195 of the Criminal Code of BiH, in conjunction with Articles 31 and 54 of the same Code.


INDICTMENT FILED AGAINST SINIŠA PLAKALOVIĆ* AND OTHERS FOR CRIMINAL OFFENCES OF ORGANISING A GROUP OF PEOPLE OR ASSOCIATION FOR SMUGGLING OR DISTRIBUTION OF GOODS ON WHICH DUTIES WERE NOT PAID AND SMUGGLING


The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH filed an indictment against Siniša Plakalović (1981), Miroslav Maksimović* (1979), Dragica Janković* (1966), Miša Janković* (1988), Mirko Sprema* (1987), Miroslav Sprema* (1949), Nikola Maksimović* (1966), and Pero Stojanović* (1983), because there is a well-founded suspicion that they have committed the criminal offence of Organizing a group of people or association for smuggling or distribution of goods on which duties were not paid set out in Article 215 of the Criminal Code of BiH and the criminal offence of Smuggling set out in Article 214 in conjunction with Article 53 of the same Code.


EXHUMATION COMPLETED IN SREBRENICA AREA


At the location of the Orthodox graveyard in Srebrenica, an exhumation process was carried out, during which the remains of at least two people were found.

The remains will be transported to the Memorial Ossuary ‘St. Marko’ in Miljevići for the purpose of taking samples and establishing the identity of the victims through DNA analysis.
