INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST OZDEMIR BATUHAN*

The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued an indictment against Ozdemir Batuhan, born in 1999 in Denizli, Republic of Turkey, a citizen of the Republic of Turkiye, who is currently in custody and is accused of having committed the criminal offense of Smuggling of People under Article 189, paragraph 4 in conjunction with paragraph 1 of the CC of Bosnia and Herzegovina, all in conjunction with Articles 26 and 29 of the same code.


PROHIBITING MEASURES PROPOSED FOR SMUGGLING OF GOODS SUSPECT*

The Prosecutor on call of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina filed a Motion to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina to order prohibiting measures for the suspect Dragan Božić, born in 1988, a citizen of the Republic of Serbia. The prohibiting measures were proposed under  Article 126, paragraphs 1 and 2 and Article 132a paragraph 1, item d) of the CPC BiH. The suspect is under investigation because on 24 August during the control in the vicinity of Bijeljina, it was found that he was transporting a large amount of computer equipment without the necessary customs documentation. He is suspected of having committed the criminal offense of  Smuggling of Goods under Article 214, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of BiH.

ON CALL PROSECUTOR AT HELICOPTER CRASH SCENE

On 28 August the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH was informed by the Konjic PD about the crash of the BiH Armed Forces helicopter at the Buturović Polje location. The Prosecutor on call went to the scene, where all the necessary steps were taken including crime scene investigation: More information will be available later.


EXHUMATION PROCESS COMPLETED IN BRATUNAC
In the locality of Blječevo, municipality of Bratunac on August 27-28 an exhumation was carried out at the request of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and the order of the Court of BiH. No remains were found at the site.



CUSTODY MOTION FOR ILLICIT TRAFFICKING IN NARCOTIC DRUGS SUSPECT*

The Prosecutor on call filed a motion to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for remand in Custody of the suspect Ahmed Halilović, born in 1997, for the reasons stipulated in Article 132, item v) of the CPC of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The aforementioned suspect was handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office by members of the Federation BiH Police Department. He is suspected of the criminal offense of illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs under Article 195 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
