Chief Prosecutor Kajganić presented the results of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH in this area, both in operations carried out by order of the Prosecutor’s Office and regarding the indictments filed in the area of organised crime and corruption in the past period.
In his presentation, the Chief Prosecutor also mentioned the difficulties identified in the work of the Prosecutor’s Office and law enforcement institutions and agencies, which should be eliminated in order to fight this type of crime more effectively.

Compared to the countries of the region, the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has so far the largest number of indictments filed and operations conducted in cases with evidence obtained from SKY and Anom applications, because indictments against more than 70 persons accused in these cases have been confirmed and significant prosecutorial decisions in this segment are also expected during 2024.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
