STUDENTS OF EAST SARAJEVO LAW FACULTY VISIT THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH
21.05.2024. 15:04The visitors were greeted by the Chief Prosecutor Milanko Kajganić. During the visit, representatives of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina met and talked with the students, including Prosecutor Ivana Petković, Head of the Counter Terrorism Section and a former student of this institution, investigator from the Department for Investigations and Witness Support Ervin Klempić, as well as a representative of the Witness Support Section Jadranka Popadić-Ferreira and representatives of the Public Relations Department Adisa Karačić and Boris Grubešić.
The students were presented with information and data about the work and results of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH in the past two decades, the jurisdiction and position of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH within the judicial community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the internal structure, as well as the departments and sections operating in the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.
The students who are being educated and prepared for professions in the judiciary could also pose questions about the daily work of prosecutors and professional staff, the process of making prosecutorial decisions, cooperation with partner institutions and law enforcement agencies in BiH and abroad, and all other issues that interest them out of the scope of work of this judicial institution.
During the visit, the students were informed about the capacities of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and were able to see how the working premises, interview rooms and other working capacities look like within a prosecutorial institution.
The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as part of its Communication Strategy, cooperates with representatives of the academic community and the student population from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina.
