- Vasvija Vidović, born in 1954 in Rogatica, residing in Sarajevo, citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The indictment states that on 18 December 2023, she appeared in the official premises of the State Investigation and Protection Agency - SIPA in East Sarajevo after she had been called by the suspect and prisoner Ranko Debevec to represent him in the criminal proceedings as a lawyer. After she was allowed to communicate with the suspect in special rooms without the presence of police officers, aware of her illegal actions and with the aim of making it much more difficult to prove criminal offences in the proceedings before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, knowing that the suspect’s mobile phones should be seized by order of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, she allowed the suspect to throw the mobile device into her bag and thus hide it.
The charges against the suspect are that with the aim of making the proving in the criminal proceedings much more difficult, she hid someone else’s item serving as evidence, whereby she committed the criminal offence of Tampering with evidence set out in Article 236 (2) of the Criminal Code of BiH.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
