The identified victim is a five-year-old girl who was accompanied by a foreign citizen and she was kept at the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs of BiH by order of the prosecutor in charge. The victim was adequately cared for and placed in a safe house in accordance with judicial guidelines for the protection of victims of human trafficking.

The victim was assigned a special guardian for unaccompanied foreign children and victims of child trafficking.

The aforementioned girl is in the search database for persons wanted by international institutions and the prosecutor in charge is in constant communication with the responsible prosecutor’s office and the police in Wiesbaden, Germany, and activities are being undertaken to return the child to her mother.
