The indictment refers to insulting the victims of the killing of eight children in Vitez in 1993.
As stated in the indictment, the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina plans to prove the allegations of the indictment during the evidentiary proceedings by calling four witnesses, including a representative of the injured party, as well as an expert witness, and by submitting around twenty pieces of evidence.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
