CHIEF PROSECUTOR MEETS WITH THE MINISTER OF JUSTICE OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

At the meeting, they discussed the activities that are carried out with the aim of bringing Bosnia and Herzegovina closer to the EUROJUST association, the progress in the activities carried out, as well as the activities that will be implemented in the future.
They also discussed the activities carried out by the Ministry of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding certain legal solutions that relate to strengthening the rule of law and more efficient functioning of judicial institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ministry of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina have been partner institutions, judicial and executive authorities, for two decades, working together to implement judicial reform and strengthen the rule of law on the European path of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
