INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR CORRUPTIVE CRIMINAL OFFENSE IN CASE WITH EVIDENCE FROM SKY AND ANOM APPLICATIONS
08.01.2024. 13:46A Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption issued an indictment against:
1. Nedeljko Lubura, born in 1975, at the time of the commission of the criminal offense employed in the RS Ministry of Interior, citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina
2. Bojan Roguljić, born in 1981 in Banja Luka, with previous convictions, citizen of BiH and Republic of Serbia.
The accused are charged with having agreed at the end of 2020 to illegally transfer across the state border to BiH an individual M.I., who was in Slovenia and for whom they knew an Interpol warrant had been issued at the request of law enforcement agencies in Montenegro as the individual was suspected with the criminal offense of attempted murder.
The accused persons also knew that the individual in question had forged personal documents of Bosnia and Herzegovina using a different identity, and by using police capacities and checks in the IDDEA system they determined that the travel document in question was declared invalid.
After the accused Roguljić, using the SKY ECC application for protected communication, informed M.I. about it and made further communication about the place and time of the meeting in Slovenia, the accused Lubura abused his official authority in the RS MoI and used an official vehicle with light signaling, with which the accused went to the territory of the Republic of Slovenia, picked up the wanted person, and thus transported him illegally and without border controls to the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The accused Nedeljko Lubura is charged with having committed the criminal offense of Smuggling of Persons under Article 189 of the BiH CC and abuse of Office and Official Authority under Article 315 of the RS CC, while the accused Bojan Roguljić is charged with the criminal offense of Smuggling of Persons under Article 189 of the BiH CC.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for confirmation.
