BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE AND THE BORDER POLICE CARRY OUT ACTIVITIES IN THE CASE WITH EVIDENCE FROM SKY AND ANOM APPLICATIONS

These activities are a continuation of the work on the case codenamed “Golub” /Pigeon/, and are aimed at three persons, who are suspected of organised crime, connected with the illicit trafficking in large quantities of the narcotic drug “marijuana-skank”, which was smuggled from the territory of Albania, via Montenegro up to Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as further towards Croatia and EU countries.
Evidence obtained from the Sky and Anom applications was used in the case.
Following the completion of the activities in the field, the prosecutor-in-charge will make a decision on further activities.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
