This agreement will strive to facilitate participation of victims and witnesses in court proceedings and will also enable faster and more direct cooperation between the two judicial institutions, especially in the area of coordination of activities related to witnesses and victims, which are an indispensable part of all court proceedings in war crimes cases, since in many cases witnesses and victims can be located in any of the two countries.
