IN CONTINUATION OF ACTIVITIES IN AN ORGANIZED CRIME CASE 4 PERSONS, INCLUDING A POLICE OFFICER, DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY
23.08.2022. 15:53A Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH coordinated the activities of SIPA police officers and partner police and security agencies in the deprivation of liberty and searches of suspects in several cities in BiH.
The activities are related to an organized crime case, connected to several serious criminal offenses that are being processed within the case of Milan Matković et al.
Among the persons deprived of liberty is an active police officer suspected of corrupt activities and the use of police capacities to assist suspects in the commission of criminal offenses.
The suspects will be handed over to the Assigned Prosecutor within the legal deadline.
The activities refer to the case, which includes international cooperation for the purpose of criminal prosecution of organized crime structure leaders, having decrypted encrypted applications used by members of organized criminal groups in BiH, countries of the region, the EU and the world.
