05.08.2022. 13:19After questioning the suspects, the prosecutor of the Special Department for Organised Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina working on the case sent to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina a motion for ordering prohibiting measures for one suspect deprived of liberty within an operation aimed at prosecuting persons suspected of unlawful trafficking, production and sale of excise products, tobacco and tobacco products in large quantities allowing the perpetrators to acquire unlawful property gain in large amounts and causing multimillion-mark damage to the BiH budget and all citizens.
The prohibiting measures, which include, among other things, a ban on leaving residence (house arrest), a travel ban and seizure of travel documents, and a ban on meeting with other suspects in this case, were proposed so that the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, together with its partner agencies and institutions, could smoothly conduct and complete the investigation in this case.
The investigation in the case is continuing intensively.
