EXHUMATION COMPLETED IN THE AREA OF MOSTAR
02.06.2022. 14:16 After several days of searching for the remains, the exhumation at the site of Međine in Mostar ended today.
From the beginning of the exhumation until today, at this grave site, the remains of at least 15 people have been found and several fragments of bone and mortal remains for which it will be determined later to how many persons did they belong.
The found remains of the victims were transferred to the premises of the city cemetery "Sutina" in Mostar for post mortem exam, identification and forensic processing.In the previous month, investigators from the Special Department for War Crimes, acting pursuant to the order of the assigned prosecutor, coordinated the work of authorized officials who participated in the exhumation process, which was attended by members of the team of forensic doctors, representatives of the Institute for Missing Persons of BiH, International Commission for Missing Persons ICMP BiH, necessary workers and mechanization, as well as police officers of the Ministry of the Interior of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton who secured the location
