JOINT ACTION OF BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE AND FBIH POLICE DEPARTMENT IN GENDER EQUALITY CASE
27.05.2022. 10:33Due to the need to protect victims and injured parties, the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the FBiH Police Department cannot provide the public with more details about this case.
Activities have been undertaken as part of the case pertaining to the criminal offense under Article 29 of the Law on Gender Equality, which refers to inappropriate behaviour and harassment of female students by an educator.
Pursuant to an Order of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, certain documents and electronic devices have been seized for the purpose of gathering evidence, and a person deprived of liberty will be handed over to the Prosecutor in charge of this case, who will question the suspect and make decision on further activities.
Due to the need to protect the identity and integrity of the injured parties who are minors, the authorized institutions are not able to provide more information or details.
