This morning, police officers of the Republika Srpska Ministry of the Interior handed over three suspects to a Prosecutor from the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption, in continuation of the "Storage" operation aimed at fighting organized crime and illicit drug trafficking connected with several other criminal offenses.

The suspects, who were deprived of their liberty, are associated with a narco-group that is operating in the area of ​​Prijedor and its surroundings and is connected with the suspect Dalibor Railić, who is currently remanded in custody.

Members of this organized group are suspected of several serious crimes related to organized and narco-crime structures in the Prijedor area and its surroundings, and members of these structures are also connected with the aggravated murder of the Chief of the Prijedor Criminal Police Department, Radenko Bašić.

The Prosecutor will examine the suspects within the legally prescribed time limit, after which he will decide on submitting a motion to order custody or prohibiting measures, as well as on the continuation of investigative activities in the case.
