MORTAL REMAINS FOUND DURING EXHUMATION IN LOPARE MUNICIPALITY
14.04.2022. 12:09An investigator of the Special Department for War Crimes is at the Koraj site in the hamlet of Kovačevići, Lopare municipality, where he is coordinating the work of authorised officers conducting the process of exhumation and searching for the remains of missing persons on the prosecutor’s order.
The skeletal remains of a human body were found at the site, which will be sent for further forensic medical processing and the process of establishing identity through DNA analysis. Representatives of the Institute for Missing Persons of BiH, a doctor-pathologist of forensic medicine, workers and mechanisation of the Tuzla Commemorative Centre, as well as police officers of the Lopare Police Station, who are securing the location, are also at the exhumation site.
