REQUEST FOR EXTRADITION OF SUSPECT M.G. (1979) SUBMITTED TO DUTCH AUTHORITIES
12.04.2022. 11:40 A prosecutor of the Special Department for Organised Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has sent a request to the judicial institutions of the Kingdom of the Netherlands for the extradition to the judiciary of BiH of the suspect M.G. who has been residing in the Netherlands for a long time.
The suspect is under prohibition measures and measures of securing his presence in the Netherlands.
The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH is conducting an extensive investigation against members of organised criminal groups related to the smuggling of large quantities of heavy narcotic drugs, primarily cocaine, and drug distribution through networked drug-crime structures in the illegal drug market in Bosnia and Herzegovina and neighbouring countries.Significant international cooperation with partner institutions of the EU and the countries of the Western Balkans region has been achieved in the case.
In the interest of the investigation, the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH cannot provide more information on the activities being carried out.
