Meeting participants have, aware that only by acting together they can offer an adequate response to organized crime which has reached worrying proportions in BiH, agreed on concrete measures and activities that will improve the fight against these forms of crime.

In the past few months, a number of operations and activities have been carried out by order of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and entity prosecutor’s offices, which represent significant progress in the fight against organized crime. The implementation of agreed measures and activities is expected to provide an expedited and more efficient response of the prosecutor’s offices and police agencies

 

The recent tragic events and the murder of the Head of the Prijedor Criminal Investigation Division - Radenko Bašić have shown that only coordinated and joint work of prosecutor’s offices and police agencies can help resolve such serious crimes.

 

Chief Prosecutors have expressed an unreserved commitment of the prosecutorial system in BiH, through joint efforts and coordinated use of resources, to put an end to organized criminal groups in all parts of BiH.
