ORGANIZED CRIME SUSPECT WITHIN THE OPERATION
03.12.2021. 12:08 After several days on the run, Petar Dukić (1980), suspected of international organized crime and illicit drug trafficking, surrendered to the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, after which the Assigned Prosecutor ordered the suspect’s deprivation of liberty.
Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption will, after questioning the suspect in the presence of his lawyer, submit a motion to the Court of BiH to order custody.
During the recent operation "Transporter", a large quantity of more than 300 kilograms of the narcotic drug Marijuana - "skunk" was found and seized in the premises used by the suspect.The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and partner police agencies from BiH, region and EU countries are conducting, within the case code-named "Transporter", an extensive investigation against an organized criminal group suspected of international smuggling of large quantities of narcotics both abroad to Bosnia and Herzegovina and from BiH to EU countries
