7 PERSONS SUSPECTED OF WAR CRIMES DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY BY ORDER OF THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH
03.12.2021. 10:18Acting pursuant to the order of the Prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes, SIPA officers arrested 7 suspects in several cities in BiH.
The suspects are charged with participating in the murder of 22 Bosniaks, including 7 children and 8 women, who were killed in Balatun near Bijeljina.
Among the suspects deprived of their liberty are persons charged with direct participation in the executions of victims.The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH extends its gratitude to the members of SIPA BiH and ISA BiH for their cooperation and joint efforts in prosecution of this case.
The suspects will be handed over to the Assigned Prosecutor within the legal deadline, who will, following the questioning, decide on further activities in the case.
