CUSTODY PROPOSED FOR ALL 9 SUSPECTS OF CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY
01.12.2021. 13:23 After questioning the suspects, Prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes will submit a motion to the Court of BiH to order custody for all 9 suspects.
Custody will be proposed for the reasons described in Article 132 (1) (a) and b) of the CPC of BiH, i.e. due to risk of flight and the risk that the suspects could obstruct the investigation, conceal evidence and influence witnesses or accomplices.
In this case, the Prosecutor’s Office is investigating suspects charged with Crimes Against Humanity in Bosanski Novi / Novi Grad area in 1992.The investigation is continuing intensively in the direction of indictment.
