INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR ILLICIT TRADE IN EXCISE PRODUCTS
18.11.2021. 13:05Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH issued an indictment against Srđan Adžić, born in 1995 in the municipality of Gacko, a citizen of BiH.
The accused is charged with illegally obtaining and placing on the market a large quantity of excise goods-cigarettes, which were not marked with control and tax stamps in the manner prescribed by the tax legislation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
According to the indictment, on 9 February 2021 the accused transported the said cigarettes in a passenger motor vehicle with the aim of its further sale on the territory of BiH, in which he was discovered and prevented by the BiH Border Police. During the search of the vehicle, a total of 700 boxes of cigarettes of various types and brands with estimated market value of more than 30,000 BAM, were found and temporarily seized.The accused is charged with having committed the criminal offense of Illicit Trade in Excise Products under Article 210a (1) of the Criminal Code of BiH.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
