CUSTODY PROPOSED FOR TWO PERSONS SUSPECTED OF COUNTERFEITING MONEY
12.11.2021. 14:30Having carried out an operation in which two persons were deprived of liberty as they are suspected of putting into circulation of a larger quantity of counterfeit euro banknotes, the duty Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina questioned the suspects and decided to put forward a motion with the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina to order custody.
The suspects are under investigation and they are suspected of putting counterfeit banknotes in payment operations, in several cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
According to the collected evidence, the said suspects are a part of an organized group, which procured counterfeit banknotes and released them into circulation, thus endangering payment operations and causing damage to citizens and business entities where they released counterfeit money.
