DEFENDANT DARKO ELEZ (1980) FULLY ADMITS HIS GUILT FOR CRIMINAL OFFENSES CHARGED WITH BY INDICTMENT IN CASE CODENAMED ‘DOLL’
10.11.2021. 15:45Pursuant to the Plea Agreement, unlawful material gain acquired by the perpetration of the criminal offences will be confiscated from the accused.
By virtue of this Plea Agreement, the accused has waived his right to a trial and the right to appeal the Judgment pronounced against him by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the basis of the Plea Agreement. The accused also agreed to cooperate with the prosecutorial institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia in shedding light on serious criminal offences.
After due deliberation, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina accepted the Plea Agreement and sentenced the accused to fifteen (15) years in prison, and with its final and binding Judgment the “Doll” case was fully completed.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
