INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR COUNTERFEITING MONEY
27.10.2021. 10:16- Aldin Hadžiavdić, aka “Hadžo” and “Alda”, born in 1993 in Mostar, citizen of BiH.
It is alleged against the accused that in early 2019 he illegally obtained a large quantity of counterfeit BAM banknotes in denominations of BAM 50 and 20, with the same serial letters and numbers, which he intended to put into circulation as real money.
The indictment alleges that the accused travelled from Mostar to the Kiseljak area, where he placed into circulation counterfeit banknotes in several shops and stores. During the police control, counterfeit banknotes were found on the accused, and during the search of his family house, dozens of counterfeit banknotes were found, which were seized.
The accused is charged with the criminal offence of Counterfeiting of Money under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
