MEETING OF THE TASK FORCE COMBATING HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND ORGANIZED ILLEGAL MIGRATION HELD

The Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, Gordana Tadić, chaired the meeting of the Task Force Combating Trafficking in Human Beings and Organized Illegal Migration, which was held via video conference.
The meeting was attended by representatives of judicial institutions and law enforcement agencies from the state level of Bosnia and Herzegovina, both entities and the Brčko District of BiH.At the meeting, the Chief Prosecutor, together with members of the Task Force, prosecutors Sena Uzunović and Merisa Nurkić, informed the members of the Task Force about the activities of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH undertaken in the past period in cooperation with SIPA and the BiH Border Police.
The members of the Task Force also presented the results, activities and plans of the institutions they represented, in the fight against human trafficking and organized illegal migration.
It was concluded at the meeting that continuous education in this area should continue.
