COLLEGIUM OF ALL PROSECUTORS OF BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE HELD

In compliance with the epidemiological measures, Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gordana Tadić, held separate Collegiums of the Special Department for War Crimes and the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption, to discuss the reorganization of the internal structure of the Prosecutor’s Office, as well as results achieved and activity plans until the end of 2021.

The topics of these Collegiums were reorganization of prosecutorial departments, in accordance with the Rulebook on the Amendments to the Rulebook on Internal Organization of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and internal rulebooks of the Special Department for War Crimes and the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption.

In the course of 2021, significant changes were made to the internal organization, according to which Department III of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina was integrated into the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption, and a Special Department for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings and Illegal Migrations was established, all of which will contribute to better work and results of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the future.

It was pointed out that, despite the difficulties and limitations caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the planned activities were expected to be realized by the end of 2021, so that the current year could be ended with the best possible work results.
