REQUEST TO REVOKE PROHIBITING MEASURES AND ORDER CUSTODY MEASURE TO SUSPECT OSMAN MEHMEDAGIĆ (1962) SUBMITTED
08.09.2021. 12:47A Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has submitted a request with the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina to revoke the prohibiting measures and order custody to the suspect Osman Mehmedagić.
While working on this case, the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina obtained information and evidence that, in the past period, the suspect Mehmedagić had travelled, communicated and stayed abroad on vacation with a person listed as a witness in the case, to whom, pursuant to the imposed prohibiting measures, the suspect is not allowed to come closer than 50 meters.
The aforementioned custody has been requested in order to register the violation of the imposed prohibiting measures.
The submission has been sent to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
