THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH INFORMED ABOUT THE BEGINNING OF WORKS ON THE RELOCATION OF THE CHURCH IN KONJEVIĆ POLJE
05.06.2021. 10:34After the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH opened a case for non-execution of the decision of the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg regarding the relocation of the church in Konjević Polje, the case’s prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH requested information from the competent institutions on the activities undertaken, given the deadline for the execution of the judgment.
The case’s prosecutor was informed that the beginning of the works was scheduled for Saturday, 5 June, and that the facility would be removed in the coming days, as ordered by the judgment of the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
