26.05.2021. 15:57An Indictment for the war crime committed in Velagići near Ključ has been issued against eight (8) persons in total.
Some of those persons are in Bosnia and Herzegovina, whereas some of the accused persons are in the territory of the Republic of Serbia, and they were questioned as suspects in the course of the investigation, pursuant to the institute of Mutual Legal Assistance.
The Prosecutor in charge of this case has issued an Indictment against all the persons accused, because he did not want to separate the case, as it pertains to an extremely serious war crime case with dozens of the killed victims.
The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has confirmed the Indictment in the said case and scheduled a plea hearing in this case for 20 July this year, when more details on the further course of the proceedings will be known.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
