FAREWELL CEREMONY FOR LEGAL OFFICERS OF THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH APPOINTED BY THE HJPC AS PROSECUTORS IN CANTONAL PROSECUTOR’S OFFICES
29.04.2021. 13:05A farewell ceremony was held today at the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH for colleagues, legal officers and investigators in the Special Department for War Crimes, who were appointed to positions in the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Offices in Sarajevo and Travnik.
Chief Prosecutor Gordana Tadić delivered a speech, presented gifts and wished her colleagues all the best in the continuation of their judicial career, as well as in their private and family lives.
The following persons from the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH have been appointed to prosecutorial positions:
- Darko Martinčević, to the position of Prosecutor in the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office in Sarajevo
- Dragoslav Gluhović, to the position of Prosecutor in the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office in Sarajevo
- Sulejman Selimović, to the position of Prosecutor in the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office in Travnik
The appointed colleagues were long-term employees of the Special Department for War Crimes and showed a high degree of professionalism during their work in the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.
So far, a large number of professional staff from the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH have been appointed to prosecutorial and other judicial positions throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
