BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE TAKES OVER DAVID DRAGIČEVIĆ CASES
14.04.2021. 13:13The case taken over from the Banja Luka District Public Prosecutor’s Office pertains to the investigation into the criminal offense against life, committed to the detriment of the injured party David Dragičević from Banja Luka. The case taken over from the Republic Public Prosecutor’s Office of Republika Srpska pertains to several persons and acts against official duty that may be related to the commission of the criminal offense against life to the detriment of the injured party David Dragičević, as well as the failure to report the criminal offense and its perpetrator, and aiding the perpetrator after the commission of the criminal offense.
The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina is committed to resolving cases of systemic corruption, as well as to strengthening the rule of law and protecting the rights of injured parties, guaranteed by the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Convention on Human Rights.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
