The twentieth Meeting of the Strategic Forum of Chief Prosecutors and Directors of Police Agencies was held on the premises of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and it was supported and organized by the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The meeting was attended by the Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chief Prosecutor of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chief Prosecutor of Republika Srpska and Chief Prosecutor of the Brčko District of BiH, as well as the Director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency -SIPA, Director of the Police of the Republika Srpska Ministry of the Interior, Director of the Police Administration of the Federation of BiH and the Chief of the Police of the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as representatives of the project of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina, within which the meetings of this Strategic Forum are being held.

The main topics of the meeting were judicial and police capacities for work on cases of organized crime, economic crime and corruption, as well as use of the Instructions for Cooperation of Authorized Official Persons and Prosecutors, operational forums’ work plans, and also analysis of the work of joint investigation teams and the work of authorized official persons, with proposals for improving such work and cooperation.

Moreover, current issues in the field of strengthening the rule of law in Bosnia and Herzegovina were discussed.

The meeting was held in compliance with epidemiological measures of protection, and it was attended by the following participants:

Meetings of the Strategic Forum will continue in the period to come, as a significant activity of inter-institutional cooperation.
