SEARCHES UNDERWAY IN TUZLA AND SREBRENICA AREAS, ON ORDER OF BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE
01.12.2020. 11:00On an Order of a Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, SIPA police officers are conducting searches at several locations in the areas of Tuzla and Srebrenica.
These activities are being carried out as part of the case of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in which several persons are suspected of association for the purpose of committing criminal offenses, as well as of the commission of the criminal offenses of violation of electoral rights and unauthorized use of personal data.
The unlawful conduct that is subject to investigation is related to the 2020 election process and the alleged manipulations and illegal actions surrounding the citizens’ applications to vote from abroad.

This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
