A prosecutor of Department III of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH filed an indictment against:

Tijana Maksimović, born in 1992 in Ruma, a citizen of the Republic of Serbia.

The Accused is charged that in late May 2020 she enticed G.S. and S.P., the female citizens of the Republic of Serbia originating from the area of Belgrade, to travel with her to Bosnia and Herzegovina, namely to the area of the town of Bijeljina, in order to provide sexual services at a private party for EUR 500 each.

According to the indictment, on 27 May this year, during the Covid 19 pandemic, the accused, together with the said persons entered Bosnia and Herzegovina illegally, across the water border on the Sava River, from where they were transported to the agreed private party in Suho Polje near Bijeljina.

Police officers of the RS Ministry of the Interior, upon arriving at the said location, interrupted the party and deprived the said persons of their liberty.

The accused is charged with intentionally recruiting and enticing two persons, foreign nationals, to provide sexual services in the state in which they do not have their normal places of residence or citizenship, for profit, whereby she committed the criminal offence of International Enticing Persons into Prostitution under Article 187 (1) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
