05.06.2020. 16:42In response to a large number of media inquiries and expressed public interest in the appeal of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH against the Court of BiH decision dismissing the motion of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH to order custody in the case related to the procurement of respirators, after receiving the second-instance decision of the Court of BiH on its appeal, in which prohibitive measures imposed on the suspects are specified, the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH can inform the public that, regardless of the situation, it will continue the intensive investigation in this case.
For the sake of transparency of the procedure and timely reporting to the public, we inform the public that the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH sent a letter to the President of the Court of BiH informing him that the Prosecutor’s Office BiH has no statutory competence to supervise the imposed measures or to control their supervision and enforceability and that these fall within the jurisdiction of the Court of BiH and police authorities.
